How to: Choose the right banana plug?
- Closed Screw Type. All Fosi amplifiers use standard-sized speaker terminals (4mm pins).
- Easy to wire up and solidly connect to amplifier and passive speaker.
- If they do not fit, use a little force to tighten the plugs.

How to Diagnose Power Supply Failure?
- The following situations may cause this issue
- Case 1: The LED on the power supply does not light up; Case 2: Amp/Preamp does not turn on; Case 3: When plugged into the Amp, both light on the amp & power supply start blinking; Case 4: Amp/Preamp make noise; Case 5: Sound shuts off by itself
- Possible solution
- Check if the power supply is illuminated when plugged into AC by itself.
Plug power supply into a different socket.
Test the adapter with a meter.
Try a different power supply (within a range of DC input).
Test the included power supply on other electrical equipment.

clean sound, provides for easy to reach control (volume and tone) of my laptop audio when performing on stage. usb power from the laptop is one less cable problem. 1/4 inch and 3.6 mm in/outs are good design. nice price/value ratio.

After too much time suffering from an electrical interference issue at my home that made it impossible to enjoy vinyl records, I discovered that a headphone amplifier required much less power than my vintage Marantz or Pioneer receivers, therefore the resulting hum I was dealing with would be almost indiscernible. I run this SK01 through the FOSI BoxX2 tube phono preamp, then through a Numark stereo 10-band EQ for further tone adjustment, then ultimately into some Audio Techica M50 'phones. I couldn't be any more satisfied. A bonus: With the Numark, which has L/R level controls, I now have balance adjustment, too! If there is ever a "plug in" model of the SK instead of rechargeable, I'll be all over that one.

I really like this amplifier for my headphones. I like it better than the dongle type because I can adjust the way it sounds. Such an improvement over just plugging headphones into your phone!

Simple device - makes any headphone sound great to the user. I’ve tried HEDDphones on many amps and none have brought them to life like this. Would love to see a balanced version with 4.4mm inputs and outputs, but I cannot really complain as the output and noise level is more than adequate as is. Very impressed by this little unit!

I use it everyday since it was purchased. My favourite feature is a 3 band EQ. Honestly my Beyerdynamic DT990 really missed some bass out of the box and SK01 lets me add more lower frequencies without overlapping with mids and I love it. Maybe a balanced out would a great addition but standard jack is also enough.

The Fosi SK01 is a very capable little headphone amplifier. It is solidly built and has whisper quiet operation. The tone controls are effective, allowing the user to compensate for short-comings in their headphones if necessary. I found the 1/4" output produced a slightly stronger signal than the 1/8", but this might have more to do with the headphones (Sennheiser IE200) than the amp itself.
