I'm super happy with the machine! It fits my needs and looks so pretty on the desk. With my old Denon Amplifier I always had static noise on the speakers. With the V3 P3 combo that I am running this has gone away! The P3 tube's are also gorgeous to look at.

Nice tube amp

It's a nice tube preamp. I use it for streaming music to my active S3000MKII speakers, the sound has now a warm tone. The only problem I have is that the bass button center is not 100% in the center, but it's more 98% in the center.

Almost too good to be true

Wow, it is exactly, no better than what I hoped for. (Since it also is a Bluetooth receiver) I was looking at a Marantz tubed preamp KIT for $150, they were going to charge me $75 for shipping and then I��d have to assemble it! Oh and it sounds great and gives me an RCA in a case I ever get a CD transport. I have thousands of them but honestly only listen to my phone . Thanx you I highly recommend anything y��all make and sell.

P3 xmas gift...

After receiving my P3 Xmas gift on the 9th of Jan 2025 it has taken a while to set it up for use.

Yesterday 12 Feb 2025 was the first time that I could really test and enjoy the unit.

I am amazed at the quality of the sound stage that it creates.

Yes it is made to run with the V3, but I added it in between the ZD3 and ZA3. There I could hear the difference between the XLR and RCA outputs.
I was very impressed with the results and the awesome warm sound.

I will do further tests with my V3 and P3 while using the ZD3 as the DAC.

Simply amazing preamp with a mind blowing sound system

Thanks to FOSI Audio staff for all your help creating my dream setup. I was advised to add the P3 PreAmp to my second BT30D Pro, which runs my rear speakers and is fed by the pre-out of my first BT30D Pro. The difference is night and day; everything sounds balanced, and the quality is amazing, when we are listening to music it��s like we have a live band playing in our front room. Everything is so crystal clear.

My front speakers as mentioned also powered by a BT30D Pro, with the input coming from my TV��s optical port via a DAC, then through a CYP delay unit to synchronize all the speakers. This setup allows me to run my soundbar, which has two fronts, two rears, and a sub, alongside the two BT30D Pros. Altogether, I have 8 speakers, 4 subs, 2 BT30D Pro Amps, and a P3 PreAmp connected and synced to my TV.

The setup from here involves two passive speakers and a passive sub connected to my first BT30D Pro. The pre-out goes into my P3 PreAmp, then into my second BT30D Pro, which runs two passive speakers and a powered sub in my front room. The passive sub output goes to a sub in the room directly above to block out noises from my noisy neighbours. They have an industrial combined dryer/washer attached to our front room wall. After kindly asking them to move it and being told to go stand in the garden while it's on (tricky when it's on nearly all day until 9 pm), I devised this setup to completely block their noise. Now we can enjoy watching TV again.

The system as a whole exceeds my expectations, and I am thrilled I chose FOSI Audio for my amplification and pre-amplification needs. Having previously DJed with Electro Voice ZLX-15P��s, I can confidently say the FOSI Amps offer far higher quality sound. You can hear every note, and they definitely blow the cobwebs away. If we turn them up, you can feel the wind from the speakers as the FOSI amps are incredibly responsive. The clarity is unparalleled. I am extremely pleased, and I had to write this review to thank the FOSI staff team. You are amazing, and I wish you all a very Happy New Year.

I've also made a short video, which I sent to FOSI Audio, showcasing how my setup turned out. They've told me it will be added to the FOSI Audios shorts section on their YouTube channel, which is an honor. The video is too big to upload here, but I'll share some pictures. Thanks again from a very satisfied customer who will definitely be back.

I have been using the Fossey P3 Preamplifier for a few months now and I am very happy with it. I have connected 2 systems and 2 pairs of speakers to it via the LC 30 VU meter.
I use it occasionally when I listen to vinyl LP BOX X2.
I expect Fosey to release a Preamplifier with a turntable input and an RCA input for other devices so that I don't have to use 2 preamplifiers...

Fosi P3 Tube Pre-Amp

If you're into tube rolling, this little miracle is hard to beat. Removable tube rings make swapping tubes easy. RCA & Bluetooth input. I bought two, one as a nightstand headphone amp & one paired with four Fosi V3 Monoblocks to bi-amp my Wharfedale 85's.

the really needed v3 update

My V3 amp was love at first hearing, but every now and then I felt the need to add a little more bass or treble depending on what I was hearing. P3 is very good for this. The tube was a plus for the sound nature, which I can't describe, but I love it. Bluetooth is much better than other cheaper adapters. The design together with v3 is very good. It's just that the updated orange button on the P3 is a little bigger than the original black one, and as I turn it, it scratched into the housing, it's really only 1-2 tenths of a millimeter from the outer diameter, but it should be smaller by that . Due to this small mechanical deficiency, it is uncomfortable to adjust the volume on the preamplifier, so I might anodize the original to the same color, because the design requires it.

Great things come in small packages

Wonderful little pre-amp! Very quiet noise floor, and does not appear to inject problems of any kind. I am not sensing a lot of harmonics from the tubes. But they are being used as buffers, so that is to be expected. The bass and treble adjustment envelopes/curves feel very good. Honestly, Fosi are creating great value for dollar and the P3 is a great example of that.

Great preamp

I use this preamp to either connect to my phone via bluetooth for my music, or connected via mini jack to rca from my pc. Im glad they use these tubes which is i know its sort of hard to discern but i do feel these tubes sound cleaner. So for my pc, i just have some maudio powered speakers and its easy to flip the toggle to switch between bluetooth or rca input. Bluetooth pairs quickly and will pair automatically after that so its easy. Sound clarity is great and if you have good speakers can sometimes hear more detail then you have heard from that music before. So overall, a great small audio interface great to add a bluetooth interface to existing stereo, or just a compact audio interface for your pc. Works well with a fosi amp to power passive speakers as well. Love the compact size and glow of tubes on my computer desk.

Great for my Van Audio

I previously installed an Ecoxgear SE26 on the rear tailgate of my van. Used Bluetooth from my phone to stream the music. The sound was very difficult to get right and just didn��t sound very good. Decided to pop in this little preamp and wow what a difference. This little unit turned a very mediocre system into a fanatastic sounding one. The tone controls help tune the sound to the ambient noise of the van when travelling and adds such great depth and warmth overall. You should 100% use one of these as in the scheme of things it��s not an expensive addition and punches well above its weight. I just wired the power of the preamp into my 12v battery system in the van which uses a Victron DC to DC converter for stable voltage control. Thanks Fosi!
