How to: Choose the right banana plug?
- Closed Screw Type. All Fosi amplifiers use standard-sized speaker terminals (4mm pins).
- Easy to wire up and solidly connect to amplifier and passive speaker.
- If they do not fit, use a little force to tighten the plugs.

How to Diagnose Power Supply Failure?
- The following situations may cause this issue
- Case 1: The LED on the power supply does not light up; Case 2: Amp/Preamp does not turn on; Case 3: When plugged into the Amp, both light on the amp & power supply start blinking; Case 4: Amp/Preamp make noise; Case 5: Sound shuts off by itself
- Possible solution
- Check if the power supply is illuminated when plugged into AC by itself.
Plug power supply into a different socket.
Test the adapter with a meter.
Try a different power supply (within a range of DC input).
Test the included power supply on other electrical equipment.

This feature made me buy it without hesitation, even though I had never purchased anything from Fosi Audio before. Something wonderful for me that I’m a fan of vintage audio systems that offered that kind of controls. 100% recommended!!

Very pleased with sound quality I am using the Q4 DAC as a pre amp with a Bt20 pro as the power amp, connected to a set of JBL control 1 Pros and a Cambridge audio Sirrroco Sub woofer, they all work great together even Deepseek agreed it was a great match, I mostly play music via the Optical link to my Samsung 50 inch TV. HIGHLY recommend it Fosi products they have brought my music listening to life again. I created this setup as an alternative to a streaming amp which are usually to expensive. I am looking forward to hearing about the Fosi S3, but will probably be out of my price range, as apart from the Q4 all the other components where purchased preowned.

I used this DAC for my laptops USB output then in a pre amp and then the ZA3. An analog path is such a better and more dynamic sound then the very limited BT transfer. I also enjoy how Fosi has made the input selectors on most products a physical switch. Much more reliable and no mistaking what input I'm on.
